This is a great restaurant for dinner! Food was DELICIOUS and reasonably priced; location is fine, BUT parking is VERY limited; atmosphere was GREAT to me- however, be aware that this is a real Caribbean style restaurant. I went on a Friday night in June and there was a live DJ who was playing music all night (kinda loud), so just be aware upfront. Ladies were dancing a little here and there, the host and hostess had great energy, and the vibe was just overall infectious!

We came to try Mr. Grouper’s because of the reputation and very disappointed! We made reservation at 6:30 PM and got seated right away. Poor service from the waitress , not friendly at all. My husband ordered grilled mahi mahi and told the waitress he wanted to cook medium rare but it turned out overcooked and super dry. He told the waitress that it was too dry and not what I expected and she replied with her attitude “oh the fish is too flaky” then she just walked away. We ordered conch fritters and coconut crusted grouper and it was ok. While we were trying to finish our meal then they started played the music way too loud and we can’t even hear ourselves talking. I thought I had a dinner in the nightclub. This place it’s not worth the money for sure!

Cracked conch and drunken grouper were delicious. You really need to relax and enjoy. Everyone is on island life time. Service was present but not up to US standards, just chill. Everyone waiting on a table was getting fed up on the long wait time, but to me, it was fine with delicious food on the way.Service was friendly and attentive. The Mac and cheese were delicious. It had some spice and crusted cheese on top. Conch was like a chewy calamari, deep fried with seasoning. All delicious. The drunken grouper was strong, my gawd. Overall, it was a fun night with friends.Everything is expensive on the island, so prices vary, but this was reasonable.

AMAZING FOOD AND DRINKS!! Junior and Esta the bar tenders were phenomenal. Junior knows how to make a drink, if you catch my drift. The whole staff are awesome! And let’s be real here this is great Haitian food. . Can’t wait to come back! The food was fresh and cooked well.

Stopped by on a whim! What a treat! they had an extensively cocktail menu, I had the Mango Pina Colada, superb! They serve local beer as well. We tried the Blackened Fish Tacos and the Caesar Salad, they both were absolutely delicious! We can't stop having about the Fish Tacos! The Mango Salsa on top just was the perfect addition. Service at the bar was great, prompt and friendly! Thank you for a great experience!
