in the last week4 Stars with Potential to be 5We visited end August from Monday to Saturday. We were welcomed with towels and fruit punch at the front desk, room was ready and were driven by a buggy to our room within minutes. Room was 3xx4, nice, large, fully equipped, Clean, Fridge stocked with water, soda and light beer. Bed and sofa bed were both quite comfortable, room ac worked really well, huge main bathroom and second bathroom, laundry, dishwasher, kitchen, all In room, 2 TVs, lounges and seating in the porch…all awesome! Resort is very clean and well maintained. Beach…one of the best I’ve seen. Crystal clear blue waters, very little waves, white sands, hardly any stones, etc. A lot of water activity right from the beach. Someone is cleaning the pool every morning, cutting and clearing dead branches off of palm trees, pest control daily to help with ants and so much more. Very well managed resort overall. Food was good overall, Asu (buffet) could do better with selection on certain days (Seafood night, there was no other protein). Kids menu should be a must…at every meal and at all restaurants and ice cream too! Water was safe to drink, but you won’t like the flavor (not a resort issue). All inclusive drinks were quite impressive as well! Service was great all around except for the towel guy (a little rude when he was there, and that was once in our entire stay). Pool aerobics was great and so was pool volleyball (other activities we didn’t partake)…Thank you Shaq! Music was good for the most part. Overall, nice quiet stay until Friday when the music got louder, it got it a little more crowded and the crowd was rowdier. Check out process was very quick and they had already got our taxi waiting. They just forgot to mention that the bell boy doesn’t start until 9am, so you will have to take your own luggage to the front desk if you have an earlier flight. We also met a new manager who had just started and she was really trying to improve the service even more! Some other notes…Beaches, nearby is a bigger resort, more pools, activities/shows, water slides, lazy river, etc. It may be a better option depending on your needs, but it was more crowded. Also, Immigration at the airport took about 90 minutes of waiting in line (huge turn off for returning to Turks and Caicos). Departing was much quicker and airport has a few nice stores.

3 months agoThe Alexandra Resort in Turks and Caicos truly exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The level of service provided was top-notch - attentive, friendly, and always going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience.Additionally, I had the pleasure of visiting their sister resort, the Blue Haven, and it was equally as delightful. The service at Blue Haven mirrored that of Alexandra - impeccable and truly a step above the rest. The ambience at both resorts was serene and luxurious, adding to the overall experience of relaxation and enjoyment.Overall, my visit to Alexandra Resort and Blue Haven was nothing short of phenomenal. I highly recommend both resorts for anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable getaway in Turks and Caicos.

3 weeks agoCheck in was a little shaky. Majority of the staff was not friendly. The food on the resort was really good except for one restaurant. The entertainment was fun each night. The sister resort Blue Haven was nice. All of the staff was amazing and friendly, unlike ours. We enjoyed our stay overall.

2 weeks agoThis is our second time here at Alexandra. We stayed here last July and we had a completely different experience. The staff this time around were not friendly. My husband asked the Jamaican lady with the hair on her chin that works at Black Rock and Asu restaurant a question and she rolled her eyes and mumbled something to herself when she was walking away from him. If you are looking for a place thats peaceful and relaxing Alexandra resort is not the place. The guests are ratchet loud and intoxicated. We could not sleep our last night here. Will definitely not be returning. The all inclusive is not really all inclusive not all the restaurants are open and the reservation system is ridiculous. The food is awful at most of the restaurants.

3 months agoLoved our stay. Staff are wonderful! Natalie was always attentive behind the bar. Kimberly is a great server at the Truck Stop which was a favorite and we ate there several times. Can't leave out Edmund, Jacques and Skylar and I don't know names but the entertainment/ activity crew were awesome. Such a great time, good food and fun.
