Our honeymoon stay at the Grace Bay Club was exceptional and surpassed our expectations. The reservation staff and on-site personnel were incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel like VIPs from the time we booked until we left. We were impressed with the high level of care and attention to detail provided by the hotel staff. The food was delicious and expertly prepared, and the personal concierge team was always on hand to assist us with anything we needed. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful beach as well. Oh, our room was a Jr. Suite, immaculate and well cared for. We loved the beach and ocean view from our private balcony. We highly recommend the Grace Bay Club for its outstanding customer service and luxurious accommodations.

Great resort, the staff go above and beyond to keep it well run and clean. The one bedroom villa was spacious, washer/dryer in unit, fridge and microwave. The beds are a little soft and could use firmer pillows. Housekeeping comes daily and for turndown. We felt very safe with security throughout the grounds. The adults only pool was nice, and the beach area was so peaceful. Didn’t get great service on the beach for set up or drinks/food, had to walk to the pool to get my smoothies but I don’t mind trying to get steps in. The grace bay beach is beautiful and peaceful. The gym is great, has peloton tread, peloton bike, and peloton rower. Stocked with fruit, water and towels. We had a great experience at the spa with massages. Continental breakfast could be better with more fruit selection but they are feeding a large crowd so I understand. Awesome location for families and great amenities, I think if just adults trip I would try shore club or amanyara. It’s a little too commercial for a nice romantic feel and touristy.

This review is based on a set of unforeseen circumstances that forced me to cancel my reservation that I booked several months ago after spending a lot of time researching and vetting from friends, neighbors, and reviews. Yesterday, I received devastating news from my vet that my beloved dog was diagnosed with an incurable disease. As a result of this horrible change of events, I had to make the difficult decision to cancel my reservation in order to provide care and comfort for my dog. I am aware of the cancelation policy, however it is as though a massive amount of salt was dumped on this fresh wound since Grace Bay Club was unwilling to offer any type of concession or deferral of this trip. While offering up a half-hearted “sorry”, the only other advice I was given was to contact my trip insurance provider while my credit card was charged almost immediately after the call ended. So now I’m out $5,000 in addition to the several hundred dollars for the trip insurance I purchased which, of course, does not provide any coverage for this type of event. Grace Bay Club came highly recommended from neighbors who have visited 18 times and close friends who make an annual trip there. To say I’m disappointed is a gross understatement. I am only asking for the willingness to work out a mutually agreeable solution where both parties win. Instead, Grace Bay chose the money I forfeited for cancelling versus building a relationship with a potential long-term client.

We stayed at Grace Bay Club for the 5th time and as always it was basically a perfect experience. The location is amazing but it’s the staff that sets GBC apart from the other resorts on Grace Bay. From the moment we checked in with Ricquel we felt like we family. The guys at the beach make you feel special….shout out to Jim and Jean for great service. The service for lunch was also amazing thanks to Anthony and Melissa who make great drinks and have great personalities. And last but certainly not least, Garth and Andre at Just Tacos are the best……Garth is a main reason we keep coming back. The tacos are amazing but the experience Garth and Andre provide while entertaining us with Garth singing country music while relaxing on the beach is our favorite. The Grace Bay Club is a great place if you want to relax and enjoy beautiful Grace Bay. We stayed at the Ritz a couple of years ago and I can promise you, Grace Bay Club has such a better vibe and service. One more thing worth mentioning, there was a young man staying there with special needs and everyone on the staff went out of their way to make sure he was having a great time. It was so nice to see how much they cared. Whoever owns Grace Bay Club should make they appreciate the staff as I won’t go anywhere else in Turks.

If you’re considering Grace Bay Club because you think it’s a 5-star resort, stop here and search for another hotel. This is NOT a luxury hotel and it’s astonishing that there are so many positive reviews. This is a 4-star resort, at BEST! Anyone that says otherwise hasn’t stayed at a true 5-star hotel before. We paid top dollar for a one bedroom suite in the family section of the hotel (top floor, oceanfront), and while the room and view was lovely, we were deeply disappointed in almost every other element of this resort.Breakfast was freezing cold every single day. We arrived when they opened, and every day the food was cold. The servers all seemed like they’d rather be anywhere in the world except for here. On our last day we asked for food to come from the kitchen instead of the buffet (the advice of a worker who agreed “the food here is always cold”), but that didn’t help. You should get what you pay for, and hot food should be the bare minimum. We would have paid to eat anywhere else, but they only have one restaurant. On our second day we visited the Kids Club. What a joke. Do not leave your child here! When we arrived, there were open containers of paint and paint thinner accessible (literally within reach of our 3 year old playing with other items in the outdoor area). We took a video because we couldn’t believe that toxic chemicals would be accessible in a kids club (period), let alone at a 5-star hotel. The game room looks like a college dorm room that hasn’t had a proper clean in months. This brings me to the “family pool”, in which the kids pool floats and beach toys (that’s generous, they have a single 8-piece sand castle kit, 1 float and 3 noodles) were in a pile on the floor or in a broken wood crate behind the beach towel hut that no one ever worked at!It’s also wild to me that a hotel like this doesn’t provide a shuttle service to nearby restaurants, especially if they can’t support guests in securing a taxi in a timely manner. Every taxi ride costs a different amount (cash only and the closest ATM requires you to take a taxi) - we spent $20 to get a ride to Coco Bistro, a 3 min drive around the corner. If you’re opting to stay at this hotel, you’re paying for the view and access to the beach, not 5-star service, accommodations and safety (literally anyone can walk off the street and through the resort to go to the beach)! Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else - the Ritz a few doors down would probably be a better option! Save yourself the frustration and thousands (and thousands) of dollars! We gave this 1 star for the location/views, but it really doesn’t even deserve that much credit!
