2 months agoThe suite we stayed in is amazing with amazing views. The beaches are amazing but definitely could be kept cleaner. The restaurant staff can definitely smile and be hospitable. Yvonne has no patience and bordered on being rude.

3 months agoGreat experience. Loved the views and quiet, less busy crowd. They also provided activities like paddle boarding, paddle boating, small wind craft, and snorkeling. Other activities are just a call away and really convenient as they come to you most of the time.

4 months agoThis resort is nice but only had one swimming pool full of young kids. There was no separate pool for adults. So for families, this is a great resort, not so much for couples. The room was nice, equipped with both a nice sized fridge and oven. There was also a separate room with a shared washer and dryer. The towels were not high quality as they were very thin. However, their toiletries were on the higher end, Bvulgari products. The beds were nice and comfy. Their service was a hit or miss. Some staff were not very friendly and it almost seemed like they were bothered by us. Others though were so sweet such as the woman who assisted us during our last dinner at the resort. I didn't catch her name, but she was trying her best to assist everyone eating at the Dune on the night of July 5th. She even fell due to the rain, but her positive attitude never wavered, she alone deserves 5 stars! I think if other staff would have had even half of this worker's beautiful aura, I would have definitely given this resort more stars. It was confusing up at the front with regards to the complimentary breakfast as we were told that it was in the front, but then the girl from the front said something about the breakfast being at the restaurant. Maybe better communication with guests would resolve this. The phone in our room was not connected. I informed front staff about this but it was not resolved. Also we were told they could put two twin beds together. I received a text the first night that someone came by to fix but we had do not disturb sign. I replied informing them we had left room and available to get fixed, but no response. We figured maybe it would get done the following day, but they didn't. Access to the beach is nice, it's right there and they have a lot of outdoor amenities. However, it is first come first serve, so if you want a good space, get up early to save it. After visiting another resort prior to this one, I don't think I would stay here the next time.

6 months agoMy family is here at the Windsong and after doing much research on where to stay etc we ended up here. Let me say this it’s amazing and beautiful. The bungalows are perfect for families. What really sets it apart to me are the employees. The manager is friendly and came up to us at breakfast to see how our first night was, not only did she check on the guests but she also said good morning and checked in with the men setting up chairs on the beach. My husband and I were so impressed by her attention to guests but also to the team of people who make it all happen. She’s always around and seems to be willing to assist. Windsong- you have a great manager and staff! We were going to go stay somewhere else for an additional night since we decided to extend our stay and now we are like we are staying right here, it’s the best! Primrose our housekeeper and Gentry the butler are also FANTASTIC!Also- to the people who say it’s slow service… your on vacation slow down.Thank you Windsong for helping us have a great family vacation! Can’t wait for the rest of our trip! From, Louis and Julia Barry

5 months agoMost definitely would not recommend. The customer service experience was absolutely horrible. The credit card company which we booked our plane tickets and resort stay with as a bundle deal executed the wrong stay dates. We arrived at the resort to find Vern (Vwern; spelling may be incorrect), resort front desk staff, only to tell us we had "no showed" our booking. We do not live on the island, we had clear evidence to support we had just arrived to the island that day. We were very confused to be met with such dismissal, as if we had simply flown from NY on a random day after no showing the week before. I am baffled to this day at how rude the front desk staff and her colleagues were to us. We politely asked for another room and were denied. We politely asked if we could be refunded as we were now going to have to hopefully find another resort in the area with availability, we were denied. Vern/Vwern treated us as if we were criminals and did her best to dismiss us after claiming multiple times we had "no showed" our original booking which we did not. The credit card company made many attempts to have the resort refund us and were unsuccessful. I'm 37 years old and this is the first time in my life I had been treated with such disrespect in a customer service setting. We are good people. Needless to say I most definitely would not waste another time at this joke of an establishment. I will let everyone I know in on the experience we had in hopes that they will have the opportunity to avoid going through what my partner and I did. Writing a "bad review" is the only thing we can do at this point to help others avoid potential issues such as these.
