. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and the prices are relatively cheap when compared to some of the more well-known tourist traps in Blue Hills and Five Cays.
Chinson’s Grill Shack offers both outdoor and indoor seating. The outside tables overlook Leeward Highway, and watching the different vehicles pass by is more intriguing than one might imagine. Locals and visitors alike frequent the restaurant, and if you’ve visited the Turks and Caicos before, there’s a high chance you’ve dined there before.
The restaurant bakes its own bread, which makes a significant difference in the quality of the dish. Chinson’s bakery services other businesses and walk-in clients, so you don’t have to eat there to enjoy their delicious bread and patties.

3 months agoMy husband and I enjoyed dinner/happy hour here over our week long visit in Provo a month ago! The staff, views, and prices were phenomenal here. The best thing besides the drinks were the Conch Fritters, Jerk Chicken, and Jerk Pork!

a month agoI cannot give this restaurant high enough praise. This was the best restaurant we visited during our stay in Turks and Caicos. The food was amazing, the drinks were great, the service was top notch, and the bathrooms were very clean. Antonette (sp?) was our server and she was a joy to interact with. Her recommendations were all on point. We had the jerk chicken & pork, the goat, and the ox tail. All were delicious! The goat and oxtail were some of the best I've had anywhere. Perfectly prepared with seasonings that enhance the flavors of the goat and oxtail. We also had bread, plantains, peas & rice, festival, mini Jamaican beef patties, and corn bread. Everything was delicious. This place is also very reasonably priced. Lots of locals eat here. I highly recommend you stop by this restaurant while you are on island. Also, they make fresh bread and pastries that we enjoyed the next day for breakfast! So delicious!

4 months agoOne of the best places to eat on the island. The location is perfect, sitting up on a hill, you can see the ocean far off in the background, plenty of seating and a bar with full selection of drinks. Most importantly, their prices are some of the best I have seen for this island and the food is amazing. I'm originally from T&T, now living in Florida and I recommend eating here 100%... We had the oxtail and the curry goat

3 months agoI ONLY went to this restaurant because of the reviews I read. This is my honest review. Two Words: Utterly disappointed.Location: off the main road, there’s constant noise from the nonstop flow of traffic. Feels like you’re eating at a truck stop.Restaurant: all outdoors, no air conditioned section. It’s the end of July and the temperature is oppressively HOT. So uncomfortable to be sweating and eating a meal.Service: our server was not a happy person. She rolled her eyes at me when I asked for water for the table. She seemed annoyed the whole time. So unpleasant! She is doing the restaurant a disservice and I wish I had an opportunity to tell the manager when she stopped by the table as we were leaving.Food: decent. We saw lots of locals coming and going for takeout/takeway. Locals smart, they didn’t dine in! They just grabbed their food to go!Overall unpleasant experience and would not recommend. Sorry, had high hopes for the place.

4 months agoI recently dined at Chinson's Grill Shack in Turks and Caicos and had an amazing experience. I ordered the island shrimp with coconut rice and pineapple slaw, paired with a piña colada. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and seasoned, capturing the vibrant flavors of Jamaican cuisine. The coconut rice was a delightful complement, rich and creamy, while the pineapple slaw added a refreshing crunch. The piña colada was the perfect tropical drink to round out the meal. Overall, Chinson's Grill Shack offers a delicious and authentic taste of the islands that I highly recommend.
